Pastor Mike and Pastor Carmen Morales know something about “sticktuitiveness”- a word brought into being by our founder and friend, Apostle Phil Hernandez.

They have spent over twenty years together serving the Lord. First they were the Outreach Coordinators, then onto the Saturday Night Service pastors, and now to leading their own congregation.

Pastor Phil spoke at our church one Sunday morning and he said that we were a small group of believers being led by “two lions.” Everyone cheered because of the truth behind that statement.

When one of their ministers was asked why she wanted to serve with them she said, “They operate the way first responders do; they go toward those who are suffering. They’re not afraid to sit with the them as they weep, lament and ask the hard questions. They know that sometimes being present is all a person needs to feel comforted.”

Kingdom City Church is a place where broken things are made whole and that happens through an unbroken connection to God, thorough fellowship and support of each other, through serving our community and the congregation in ministry and beyond.
